Council of Europe welcomes an approval the Concept of Reform of the Training System for Public representatives in Ukraine
On 1 December the Concept of Reform of the Training System for Public representatives in Ukraine (Governmental Order dd. 01 December 2017 № 974-р).
The Concept developed with participation of the Council of Europe experts. It takes into account the set of the Council of Europe recommendations developed by the National Consultation Platform on Reforming the Training System for Local Authorities and its meetings launched by the Council of Europe in co-operation with the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service. Also the Concept considered provisions of the Council of Europe Peer Review Report “Reforming the Training System for Local Authorities in Ukraine” drafted by the ministerial high officials from the CoE member states after consultation with Ukrainian stakeholders including representatives of the Parliament, Government, national local self-government association, expert and international community.
The Council of Europe is continuing its support to the reform of training system for public officials in Ukraine particularly by the way of participation its experts in development an Action Plan to the Concept.
